His Excellency the President of King Abdulaziz University, Dr. Tareef Alaama, received a distinguished delegation from the Catholic University of Portugal, led by Professor Isabel Capeloa Gil, Rector of the University. The delegation included Professor Nelson Costa Ribeiro, Vice-Rector for Global Engagement; Professor Paula de Castro, Director of the School of Biotechnology and Ambassador Ana Martinho, Faculty Member at the Institute for Political Studies. The meeting focused on exploring avenues for academic collaboration and developing international partnerships.
Following the meeting, the delegation was given a tour of the KAU campus, which included visits to King Fahd Medical Research Center and the Institute of Medical Genomics, where they were introduced to the university’s cutting-edge research facilities and pioneering scientific initiatives.
